I have a tippmann c98, and I was just wondering how the smart parts teardrop style barrel would do on it. Im looking at the 14 inch. I was using a Tru-Flight, and there junk. Im looking at either the dye excel or the teardrop. Just wondering what people thought. Thanks..

i had a teardrop. its good, but not great. go with the excel. even better would be a Lapco Bigshot ($50). dont get anything over 14" because it is just a waste of gas at that point. 12-14" will get you best efficiency and best accuracy.

DO NOT GET A 14"! IT WILL GET IN YOUR WAY VERY BADLY! Go with the 12", or if you play speedball more than woodsball go with a CP 10". Otherwise the Teardrops are great barrels, but with a Tippy anything over 12" is murder when you're running around.
