First: Do they affect performance?
Second: Where can I find some?

i dont know a lot about them but i think they do make the barrel a little longer. and there was something about them some people didnt like liek they caused friction on the all or sumtin.

Thanx for the website. I check them out and was wondering about their quality. Any good?

Also I didnt actually find the exact adapter. Do you email them or something?

I would stay away from them personally. because they act as a control bore, once the barrel is mounted. and since they dont come in different bores, you are stuck with a bore that may be too big, or really screwed, if its too small.
