This weekend team Fallout went to the Black Cat Scenario game in Highrolls NM.

We had 6 Tippmanns total and fried over 10,000 rounds from thoes guns. That I know of only 2 balls were broken. Even at high rates of fire my a5 worked perfectly. All of the guns were running on co2 in temperatures ranging from 25 to 70 degrees. There was loose dirt and sand that penetrated everything and yet the guns worked without a problem. The flatlines (2 a5 and 1 98c) all shot really well, only 1 break and that was with crappy paint that I borrowed from someone while on the field.

SOme of these guns were really abused. Mine got wet, was frozen, got dirt inside the gun, was shot by paintballs, ate liquid c02, and was not cleaned all weekend. Yet the gun's worked like the did when the just came out of the box.

I hope someone from Tippmann ends up reading this, their guns were incredible out there.

That, my friends, is why I still prefer my mech Tippy over my Spyder.

The valve almost never needs to come out. Unless you get the R/T or the Pro-Seal Powertube.

Well see i chopped so i was taking out the whole powertube to clean out the part i cant get to behind where the tube sticks out, and i wanted to keep the pins etc. in so i held it up and tried to screw the screws back in but i must've put it in at an angle or whatever. It doesnt matter tho i still have one and i just loctited the other one in.

That is exactly why I love my Tippmann, and got rid of a Spyder within one day. I work at my local shop on weekends.

Probably half of our calls are about problems with Spyders, needing new parts, etc. More than half of the guns brought in are Spyders. It took the resident gun genious three hours to get one stupid Spyder working.

And, in my time there, I have seen two Tippmanns brought in with issues. One was a seven-year-old Model 98 that had a small leak in the valve. Took less than five minutes to fix. And the other one was a guys R/T got turned up too high upon installation, and was chopping paint like mad. It was kind of cool watching it outshoot a shake-n-bake, then an Evlution II, then a Halo B. That wasn't even a gun problem.

Tippmanns kick some serious butt.

Is it possible to break a Tippmann? A minivan backed over my 98C and other than some scratches it was fine. Tippmanns are the best ever.

It is reasons like this that I prefer tippmann over any other gun , An A5 is my main gun and I have a spyder E-99 for a back up . My A5 has yet to chop paint with me , thouseands of rounds through it with a R/T and a flatline . but my spyder cutts through paint like it was butter .
