ive got the m98 with the stock barrells (not many upgrades) and this thing spits paint everywhere...could barely hit a tree 1/2 the time from 50 feet away...anyways ive been looking into getting an sl-68 with a better barrel because these guns just rock..pretty accurate out of the box and with the few upgrades it can get it can own...i know your thinking ewww a pump but (sigh im gonna get killed for saying this) im a sniper and have done pretty good in a scenario game using a friends(god the job to assinate the enemies general and managed it from about 100 feet away one shot)
i can get one for really cheap on ebay and with a few upgrades it can be a killer sniper gun. should i get it and go with a trusted gun or risk alot of my money on the flatline and some upgrades for my m98 (rear cocking, xpac, remote etc)?
btw im thinking about just keeping my m98 for rec play since sniping rarely works anywhere else but in scenario or big games.
