My friend wants to sell me a used (not real used) 14 inch Smart Parts teardrop barrel. He only wants 15-20 dollars for it. I see they retail from 49-59$ and want to upgrade my barrel. I was content on keeping my stock barrel and then upgrading slightly to a lapco bigshot.

What would you do? Buy the used teardrop or wait and buy the Lapco.

I'm sure alot of people would reccommend another barrel but I narrowed it down to the laco before i was approached about buying the used one. So tell me what you would do please.

if i were you, id buy the teardrop for $15 (as long as you test it first.) But, it depends on what you want. The big shot is not silent, and the tear drop is pretty quiet. But, if the tear drop is only $15, you could save up 15 more pretty fast so that you could buy a big shot, if you want. Also, you should make a deal with your friend so that you can return the barrel if it doesnt work out.

good luck
;)

I have a 14" Tear Drop. There pretty durable, so, there shouldn't be too many problems with it, just try it before hand, but Deffintly buy it. There are a very accurate, and quiet barrel. Very accurate with Diablo Blaze.
