hey does any one know if the vertical feed is the fastes or the slowest
and
if you have a vertical feed thing that holds the hoper and the gun together does that part bends or is it straight ????

vertical feed spyders like Xtra have a straight elbow that they use to hold the hopper to the marker.

The other vertical feed markers (such as angels, cockers, timmys, etc) all the hoppers fit inside the vertical feed tube

Well vertical feed is equal speed to the side feeds.

I feel that the vertical feed is faster. Through these laws of the earth around, we know friction causes something to slow down. The power or side feed will have an elbow and since it is tilted diagonally, it will slow the ball down because the ball has to touch the sides to move down. A vertical feed has less friction applied to the ball because all the ball has to do is drop and is likely to touch the sides a lot less than a ball in a power of side feed. Thats what I think, but others probably have different opinions.

well that is correct. On the friction as well as you forgot that gravity straight down is faster than on an angle. But what changes all that is the fact that vertical feed (low or mid rise) can only hold a few balls like 2, while the side feeds hold approx 4 or 5 sometimes more. This changes that makes them equal. More balls stacked equals faster speed as well. Hence why the Warpfeed is so fast.

i think i have a vertical feed gun and it came with that bent elbow .. will that still work ?????

if they do feed at the same speed wouldnt the side feeds be better cause you can accually aim better than the vertical feed instead of the hopper being in the way

well I never have aimed down the top always down the site of the barrel. Really its personal preference.

Vert feed is much better

I personally feel that it is slightly faster, but it also prevents your hopper from poking out the side when ur trying to shoot.

Something that I recently noticed when I was at my local shop too, with a vert feed gun you can turn your gun about 45* in either direction and it will still feed properly, but with a side feed u cant do that
