when i shoot my 98 custom frost comes out of the cocking slot. is this normal?and if i get a rocket cock 2 will the snow get stuck inside the gun and mess it up? because i want to get the rocket cock this week.

Yeah, it's normal. Adding the the RC2 won't have any negative effect because of it.

Your velocity may also be a bit high.

the 'snow' is just co2 that solidified, it wont last long, a second maby and will vaporize again.

i dont have any way to see what im shooting for fps. does anyone know how to set it without a chrono?

there really is no accurate way unless you care to calculate air resistance at your density altitude and run a timed test. flatline markers can be "chrono'd" roughly by the balls trajectory because of the unique shape of the barrel, when it is flattest, you will be shooting between 265 and 285fps, otherwise--no.
you need to chronograph your marker if you wish to play paintball safely with it. i have scars from hot guns back in the day when we used to play, they wont kill you but its not pleasant.

It's also more important to chrono a 98 because they tend to shoot hot.

just take it to ur local proshop and ask to chrono it.

yeah its not a problem just use it a little more it will go away and the rocket cocker won't effect it its nothing bad
