how long can you "safely" keep a Co2 talk full(in storage)? does it make a difference if it has an on/off valve?

take an asa, take off the hoses, srew in the tank and don't touch, it'lll freeze skin off your hand, once it's empty and warm put a sock over it and set it in a safe place
