i was thinking about maybe getting a shocker with a dynasty board or nerve board. would this actually be a better performer or overall better gun(by that i mean light, more bps and more cps, better effeincy ect...)are they really that accurate, are they similar to the ion because i also have one of those and like it alot but not as much as my impy, is it a step up from my gun. and im talking better than my setup. my setup is as follows 05 atomix tribal impulse with W.A.S. board, ndz slick shot ram,ndz sst hammer, strange derlin bolt, atomix shocker max flow reg,hpa pure energy tank, blade magno trigger,ti bolt pin, high volume valve cap,low rise and cp drop, and last but not least halo b rip.

both will perform very similarily. the shocker will be much smaller and lighter, though. i suggest holding each and deciding which one you like better.

which has more cps and bps capability i heard and impulse with proper set up can shoot about 26bps and cycle over 30

You shouldn't be able to outshoot your Impulse, so max bps/cps shouldn't matter. With a HE kit in the shocker, both will have acceptable efficiency, and the accuracy really depends on your barrel more than anything else.

The Shocker is certainly lighter/smaller, which matters. The question is how much does it matter to you?

First off, you have a great gun.

As far as difference in performance... here's a break down.

Accuracy - virtually identical, perhaps a slight edge to the shocker with it's All-A barrel.

Achievable rate of fire - Edge goes to the Impulse... but just barely, and only becuase you have an Equalizer board from WAS. A shocker with the right trigger job can be a machine gun... never underestimate them.

Chopping paint - shouldn't do much (if any chopping with either) but if there is an edge, it goes to the Equalizer. Goose ran a non-vision shocker for months with a Halo B and never chopped as long as he had good batteries in the hopper (and that's up to 18 bps)

Efficiency - with the bolt kit in the shocker and a rip valve in your Imp they will be very close, but the Shocker may get just a few more shots out of a tank.

You can see that they are both going to perform at a similar level, so the determining factor should be the following....

1. Holding the two markers in your hands. one is obviosly smaller and lighter, but does it feel comfortable?

2. How much can your wallet afford?

Hope that helps out.
