my imp has massive shootdown. i can't fire two shots before there isn't enough pressure to cycle the ram and bolt. i cleaned out both the regs (max flow and ndz lpr) with no improvement. my lpr gauge says that it takes almost a full second to recharge from 0 to my set lpr pressure. any ideas about how to fix this? thanks.
hrm..... Either your LPR is recharging super slow, or there is an obstruction inh the air passageway betweent ehLPR and the noid chamber (maybe a piece of dirt in the LPR hose or the tapeworm.)
OR...... Your LPR actuall has a slow leak.... and even though it's turned out so far that no air should be coming through it is slowly leaking air into the noid chamber and that's what's actually cycling the gun.
OR..... your LPR is actually turned out so far it's off, but there is a leak on your rear tapeworm oring, and it's leaking valve chamber air into the noid chamber.
DO THIS AS A TEST.......
-Pull the LPR hose off of your LPR or gun... doesn't matter which side you pull off as long as no air can get from the LPR to the gun.
-Gas up the gun
-turn your LPR knob out until the air flow stops.
-If air is slowly coming out of the LPR side... your LPR is messed up and has a "creep"
-if air is slowly coming out of the tapeworm, the then rear oring on the tapeworm isn't sealing for some reason
Do that, then get back to here with the results. We'll getcha taken care of!

Also make sure the on-off is screwed all the way in if you have one.
