Just got my new 12" impulse threaded JnJ today. When I took it out, I noticed the outside was all scratched up. Not scratched like the black finish had been removed and you could see shiny metal, but the finish was dulled. There was also 2 pin prick scratches on the business end of the barrel where you could see shiny metal. I was disappointed.
Also, the inside of the barrel wasn't mirror finish clean. I ran my squeegie through a couple times to try and remove the dust stuff in there, and fortunately it shined right up.
I never had problems w/ my 2 previous JnJ barrel (1 ceramic, 1 edge kit) so I was surprised. Has anybody had their barrel come in this condition? I was disappointed. I was expecting a shiny new toy, and instead it's all banged up. Even my old ceramic looks better, and it was used for several years before it was shelved.
