what is the dose/eye and what does it do?

It recognizes if there is a paintball loaded into the chamber before you fire the gun. It is made to reduce or eliminate the chopping of paintballs. The DOSE is not the best eye out there however...

one of the biggest reasons that while its good, its not one of the better ones, is because its bouncebeam, not breakbeam, and thus darker paint will not show up in it.

edit- oh yeah. basically what it does, is when its turned on, it wont let the gun fire, unless it detects something in the chamber. what that equates to, is that the bolt wont come in and hit a ball that isnt fully loaded.
