I am thinking about having Hyper Sport Works build a shocker for me. Is there anything I should know about a shocker? when they go down, what does it take to get them back running? is there anything like "timing" with a shocker?
I've done some research, read up on maintaining it and all that from SP's website, and i'm wondering if there's anything they "left out". Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Don't everyone raise they're hand at once or anything. up.

Did you see info on timing a Shocker on SP's site? It's really only something that needs to be done when you change something like the bolt. Not like a Cocker timing deal.
Ever shoot one. I suggest doing that first. Try to play a game with one.

I've had the chance to use one for about three hours- but it didn't really occur to me at the time if there were ever any problems with it. when i saw a cocker, i knew to ask if anything ever went wrong with it.
basically, i'm asking:
Do shockers ever "go down' like cockers do? if they do, how easy is the fix(on average)?

Every marker goes down, some just more than others. Keep the Shocker clean and it will be quite reliable. Slack on the cleaning, watch the performance drop. Cocker's slip out of time gradually, Shockers don't for the most part.
