I get like massive knots on my knees and big bruises. I get them every week when I play. I do alot of running and sliding, and shoot from my knees. How do you all shoot? Ive seen kneepads for sale, but If any of you have used kneepads for skating, they tend to slide up or down when you land. Is there any out there that do NOT move up or down. Anyone got any suggestions???

If u'r willin to pay $50 bux K2 makes a brand a knee bads with shock absorbant metal rods that run parrallel to the pad, they keep them from sliding when u land. These knee pads r used by alota pro skaters, so u know there good. I'm not sure where u could by them the ones i saw were at an OSHMANS sporting goods store, but i don't know whether u have one of those where u live or not.

The best kneepads I've found are the Renegades. It's to the point with my knees I can't play without them!

go to a sporting goods store and purchase those soft knee pads for volleyball. they dont slip much, weigh almost nothing, aren't clunky like skateboard pads, and can fit comfortably under any pants.

Nah, buy paintball kneepads. The ones Auctionjunkie listed are good, but just about anyones will work really well. They're designed not to slip, and also have added shin protection. That, and alot of tourneys (You'll want to play em eventually, trust me) will only allow you to wear pads on the outside of your clothing, and you'll look like a goof wearin skateboard pads :P

Irony: Three days before I injured my knee, I ordered some Raven knee/shin pads ... three days after I injured my knee they arrived. I've worn them around the house, but they don't fit well over the brace.

lol, I saw someone at my field once, who loaned out his gun to someone, so he was using another gun that normally was on remote, but he didnt ahve a remote harness, and he had to attach the tank on gun... Long story short, he had a mag, with a tank attached to the bottom of the grip frame with about 3 rolls of duct tape, because it had nowhere to screw the ASA into. Nothing compares to watchin someone run up field, have the tank fall off his gun, duct tape streaming everywhere, lol. Was a funny guy

haha....when i play.....i use old tae kwon do shin guards....i just slide em up...and they are comfortable, balls bounce right off..and never slide because basically it is like a strong sock with a big pad. very light...when i play with them i forget that they are even there.

I dont use shin pads or knee pads they get in the way for me. Plus my pants are really thick and i just sit on it and i dont feel a thing. If i am behind a bunker i sit on my knees that is the only time i do. Then others i am running and or standing really low. And if my legs did get brused i will just deal with it.

Kneepads wont necessarily help the strain that is put on your quadripceps or calves from kneeling all the time behind bunkers or in other positions. I too have played for hours and found that my legs KILL from being strained and having the muscles pulled from kneeling all day while shooting. Kneepads might help for sliding and for short, abrupt punishment that the knees take. But the only real way to get rid of having those muscles sprained or strained is to warm up before you go out to the field and stretch those areas so you wont feel pain later.

Good point,I kinda do a little work out thing in the morning before I play.I never have a knee problem that much I just cut the crap out of my legs on rocks. Now that the right hand has to fingers broke it kinda sucks changing hands when I shoot.

I didn't get the knee/shin pads because I thought they would aid in kneeling or sliding, but to keep from taking knee/shin shots which are painful as Hell.
