What's the point of a two piece without different sized pieces? Take the Proto two piece for example, what's the point. Is it really just ease of storage? Do people actually pay an extra 30 bucks to break their barrel in half?

Aesthetics, you can get a different colored back and tip.

Well they also probably have every thing they need. And have nothing ells to spend ther cash on so they but a new barrel that they heir is good and buy it in two pieces.....
Like the saying "Two heads are better then one!?!?"
"Two pieces are better then one!?!?
And like the other dud said you can get different colors and stuff.

another reason is if they have two different type threaded markers, its usually cheaper to get another back, than it is a whole nuther barrel.
like say that I have one that is spyder threaded, and I have a two piece J&J full tilt barrel. And I pick up a marker that is cocker threaded. I can get a new back for the full tilt, for about 20-25 bucks, and just swap the tip between the two guns, without having to buy a complete barrel, saving me about 10-20 bucks.
Or....say that I want a 10 inch barrel for speedball play, but I want a 16 inch barrel for woods play. get a 10 in tip, and a 16 in tip, and swap them out, instead of buying two different barrels.
