I am now believing that people from SP are on the forums giving props to the Ion. I've seen Ions being shot amd shot Ions and they don't even begin to compare with any gun that costs more than it. Look on the SP Ion forums, and you'll see all these people saying that it is near, equal or higher than an Impulse. My brother has an Impulse, and going from shooting that to an Ion is like stepping out of a Corvette into an Accord. There is little room for comparison.

Meh, you're wrong.

Coming from someone who has a TON of firsthand experience tuning and shoting them.

The ION is hyped right now, it will die down in a few months.

I agree. Wasn't too long ago when hating SP was the thing to do, now it's to buy their new marker.

Why do VS threads (Impulse vs Ion in this case) always end up with Car VS Car?:banghead:

Coming from the airsmith, 13 year player and shop manager...

You're wrong. The Ion is better. Go find my posts on the subject and have a revelation.

I hate you.

The Ion is a nice gun for the price. 300 for a high end electro can't be all THAT bad.

imps are too unreliable.

The Ion is a great gun, but it probably won't beat out a decently upped Imp (delrin bolt, lpr, new trigger, and some NDZ internals) with WAS. I could be wrong. Also, if you complain about weight go to the gym and lift some weights. It's always nice to have a light gun, but the weight of the average paintball gun shouldn't be something to complain about.
