Impulse being banned?!?!?!?!?

i was planning on buying an impulse in the next few weeks but i recently heard that they are being banned for tournaments, is this for the turbo only or both impulse's??

yep turbo mode should be banned sometime in the near future :( oh well, it was too hard to get used to anyways.

Replacement chip is all you need. And for now it's only the #@!%^!ing NPPL doin it

you need a whole new board on the ompluse too change the chip or send it in.Smarts parts is droping the turbo on Impluses anyway.Read there home page.

any gun thats turbo capable needs a new board? man, the nppl is going to be ruled by cockers and mags for while

Stock Impluse i have is not turbo so the Excal is not the only one.

Yes and no. You can purchase an aftermarke board, the Glacier I think, for the Impulse to add turbo and other modes of fire. There's no board or chip available for the Excalibur so it is the only electro that is semi only.

Most electros are comin out with semi boards nowadays. The timmy board I'm not sure if it's out, but Bob's Ironmen are already usin em, and it's nice 'cause there's no ROF cap, though the odds of you pullin your trigger faster than 14 bps in semi is small anyway, I just thought it was cool

Well I'd tell you but i'd of miss spelled alot of words and stuff made a typo and get flamed for it.Go too smarts parts web page and they explain the turbo mode on there guns there. alot better than i can and i dont feel like getting hammer on a mistake in words

Very short explanation;
Turbo is where the gun "stores" shots. If you have it set for 1.5 shot turbo for every 2 trigger pulls you shoot 3 balls.
