I just got a new Torid X a few days ago, and I haven't had a chance to try it until now. One thing I noticed when I screwed in the CO2 is that there was a low level leak that I couldn't get to stop. Would that just be an o-ring, or is it a mechanical failure within the gun itself? If anyone has advice I'd appreciate it.

The gun is cocked, the leak sounds like it's coming from just in front of the CO2 tank itself, so I think it's an issue of there being a seal that isn't installed correctly or something.

Replace the tank o-ring.

Get some gun oil and just put a drop in where you screw in your tank. And shoot a couple of times. ( this will lubercate most of the parts in your gun.)

are you using anti-siphoned co2 on your torid x?or are you just using plain co2

The manual says to use a/s CO2, but I can't find anyplace nearby to install it. I tried calling a few paintball fields but I couldn't get a hold of anyone at 2, and the third one said some random stuff about a/s being out of date, and that tanks were being made better today, I engaged the person in a brief discussion and then said good-bye before my brain began to hemmorage out of my eye sockets.
In short, for the test shots it was regular CO2, and I'm trying to find someplace to get a/s installed, or I may have to just do it myself.

you don't need to run a/s co2, but it does help a lot
so what, is the leak is fixed?

All they have here is co2
