True review?

Hi, I have an upgraded E99 and want to get a new "pro" marker since I am paintballing now about 5 times a month and getting pretty serious about it. I currently don't have enough money to buy any of the guns that I am interested in, order-->(1.Freestyle, 2.Proto/Dye, 3.Shocker). But people have been telling me that the Smart Parts Ion with upgrades is better than these guns and that people have traded Intimdators for them. I think that it is bull. But is it true, is the Ion better than these pro markers?

No? People must be trading timmys for Ions + Mucho $$$ depending on the timmy.

Yes there are instances of people trading thier high end gats + cash for an Ion. Its NOT better than any of the guns you mentioned, but it is the best thing for 300 bucks right now.

If you only have $300, buy an Ion. If you have more, buy a real gun.

Well when people are short cash but still want to play they may trade guns for cash and the ability to keep playing.
Personally i really like Ions, i had the chance to use one for a practice 2 weeks ago, very nice little gun, actually surprised me. However, i was also using a DM4 and a Proto that day, personally the trixes felt a lot nicer to use.

Go the better way, Ion's are a nice moderately low priced good performing gun, but they don't stack up against Trixes, shockers, timmies....etc

But Shockers murder bushys...so unless tupperware is negative in performance I'm pretty sure your math leads me to believe that Ions are better than Bushys.

Ion = Shocker + tupperware
Shocker > bushy.
Ion > bushy.

Go to college and find $500-700 of better things to spend your money on. Selling a new Alias and buying an Ion lets you play ball, afford paint and your weekend bar tab/dinner tab all at the same time.
