You can order a brand new R2K direct from the company (it's at the more expensive MSRP than the deals you can find in stores, but hey). You will get the newest upgrades, and you can pick custom color combinations!

The mute option was standard on all units produced. Yes our translucent
colors will break easier than black, its a standard problem when adding
color pigments. However, our colors are made of a stronger material
than the competition. Our strongest shell is chrome because the
underlying plastic white with no color pigment added. Even black has
color added, but opaque is always stronger than translucent. We are
getting a lot of orders for half chrome and half color, they really look
cool. Half chrome and half black look cool and is very strong.
The MSRP on the AK is $69.95 and will arrive by mid January. The 2K
Speedball Series is in stock and you can mix any colors you want, $89.00
delivered.
Best tips are black, blue, and red. Yellow tips are the older
versions. If a tip comes off, just smash the tip of spoke paddle with a
pair of pliers to make sure it doesn't have a sharp tip.
