Quick Response Box?

title says it all. its kinda like on pbn, if anyone here ventures there. at the bottom of the thread page there is a box in which you can just type in your response right there on the thread page and post it instantly. i use it 99% of the time now on PBN and it is really quite helpful for keeping up to date with fast-moving threads. and maybe andrew could add a little smiley column off to the side to help it out. just a suggestion but i think it would work. how many would use this?

no, they still have vbulletin, just a different skin. i'm pretty positive Andrew could do it, i mean, he has direct access to the source code so he can do pretty much whatever he wants.

All it does is make it easier to spam, spend the few extra seconds while it loads to think about something nice to say or don't say anything.

I agree. It would make it so much easier for spammers to say "PBN r0xX0rz" in 50 different threads.

I think this place is running a quite old version of vB. Probably older than PBN. It might or might now support quickreply boxes, but I don't care about them either. Like someone metioned, you only get 15ppd, and unless you're on 56k, loading the post reply page only takes a few seconds (at most) more.

Actually I would prefer it because I don't feel like getting up and touching my mouse. It would be easier if it all were on the same page. You can't spam that easy...There is a one minute rule b/t posts which is enough time to change the page.

I would also prefer it because when I'm out of the country like in Taiwan, its easier for me to have the quick response box because of the slow connection speed.
