i was at a tourney this weekend and i was talking to this guy with WAS on his timmy. he said that there was a way you could 'unlock' some extra settings on a WAS board by putting it in tourney lock (grounding two pins or sumthing) and then taking it back OUT of tourney lock. has anybody ever heard of this or done it or know if it will work? any help is greatly appreciated.

No, that wont do anything. There used to be a way to unlock Debounce 1, but WAS fixed that problem. You had to pull the trigger like 500 times, while in programing mode for debounce, and then it would be unlocked. The timmy WAS equalizer board also had this glitch but WAS again has fixed it. but not on the timmy Was boards version 2.8 you dont need the equalink to unlock debounce 1. luckys:)

I dont think there are any extra settings that you can get too. All the tourney lock does is lock all your settings so they cant be changed without unlocking it first. When you unlock the board it just makes it so you can change your settings again.

Yeh, it's not like the WAS board is some sort of video game, with cheat, codes, and secret levels...
