Does anyone know if there is a steel braided line out there to replace the rubber one that runs on the outside of the gun. I love the R/T and thats the only thing I dislike about it

I don't think so, cuz, that would be very hard to make an stainless steel hose that small.

whats the problem with the rubber hose? it is not required to carry a very large amount of pressure and is well within its means to work flawlessly with the RT.

as far as i know there is no such hose because it is very impractical, you would have to custom remake the barb fitting to attatch it to your RT fittings which would be so much more of a pain that its worth.

I shoot an A5 with a RT, and it has been shot too many times at a damn senario game:grumpy: and the hose is just fine, you have no need to replace it, it will never break unless you purpously cut it.

even if you put a hole in it the plastic is ridiculously replaceable.

And don't forget the handy mans secret weapon : Duct tape

I think that statement equates out to "I pop in and out of thick brush and am afraid of snagging and damaging the hose." That seems the most logical reason to me.
