I am going to buy a Piranha PRO TS G3 gun soon... I am now having trouble trying to decide on a barrel. I would appreciate any help if possible. I want the barrel to be very accurate, quiet, 16 inches, and last but not least... nice looking. Accuracy and range are the most important factors and I just prefer 16 inch barrels but I am having some trouble choosing one. What do you think? I was thinking about a 32 degrees Carbon Fiber... or a All American Smarts Parts barrel. These both fit my criteria but which one is best? I am also open to any other recommendations for any barrel fitting my criteria for around $80.00. Thank you for your time... I look forward to hearing some responses.
You don't need a 16in barrel, you can get the same performance out of a 12 or 14 in barrel. 16in is just too long...but hey I'm not buyin so do what you wanna thats my advice on the length tho.I would recommend the tear drop, baddass looks baddass accuracy. 50 bucks, it can't be beat.

yes...I agree. 16" is way to long...I used to have one. I would go with a 12". The AA will give you good performace, but the 32 degrees carbon fibers look really nice. I love my AA, but always tried to justify buying a carbon fiber. Halladay of the Aigun designs forum loves his 32 degrees carbon fiber. I would say you are safe with either.

What do you think of the DYE BOOMSTICK? Worth the cash?

I use a All American on my 98, it's very accurate, and looks cool on my tippmann, but tippmanns look alot different then any other gun. Actually they look alot like the rentals :)

You can't go wrong with a Dye Boomstick. They are probably considered the #1 barrel of the pb world. I never bought one because a got a great deal on my SPAA. Look at the reviews on this sight...that might help guide your decision.
*note*
Make sure you get the bore size you usually use. This is important. ie: if you ususally use PMI paint, get a barrel to match that size paint...

Well heres my 2 cents worth: I own a G3 Pro TS with a 12" boomstick and must say that I am very happy with the performance of my gun. I have never tried the AA or 32 carbon fiber, so im not sure how either of these barrels would perform.

Yes the boomstik is very good, but this is a newb remember a boomy may not be in his price range. A tear drop is an exelent choise. And dare I say it! Yes I dare! I like it better than the boomstik. Its just more accurate.

Money is not really an issue with me when it comes to a barrel. The only reason I don't want a Frewak system is because I feel all of the inserts are unnessesary and a little extreme. 2-3 inserts max would be fine.
