Ok I am about to buy a spyder tl plus, and I want to know what kind of barrel I should buy with it. Right now I am looking at a Dye Ultralight that is 18 inches. I would like to know some barrels that might be better, and if 18 inches is good or too long. thanks

Personally i like 12" or 14" barrels. I have had really good luck with my J & J ceramic barrel. There are alot of barrels out there that perform well so look around and get one that you like and can afford.

18"!!!!!! thats way toooo long. It will get in the way too much. Stick with a barrel around 12 or 14 16 at the highest. Dyes are good and if not that then get a LAPCO. At http://www.paintballbarrels.com ITS FREE SHIPPING!

18" wow. I personally I don't prefer anything over a 16" and most people in these forums will agree that a 18 is quite lengthy. I noticed that most people like a 12" or a 14". I just ordered a SP All-american 16" once that barrel comes in, which should be tomorrow, I'll post a review of it (if your interested)

I hate heard that they are good. They say they're accuarte and good if you get a ball break.
