What do you think, I'm looking for accuracy, and of course intimidation.

what do you play.i voted big shot cause i like accuracy with out buying $60 paintballs like you do to get optimal performance out of a flatty.a bigshot works gret with everything.
although for rec ball and woods that extra range has been whats decided the out come of many games ive played.people say the flattys not accurate but i have a friend who uses all stars and other small expensive paintballs and they have excellent accurracy

Well at this point it is going to be mainly for woodsball.

if you can afford the flatty get it for woods ball

I would get a bigshot so you could use it for other guns besides the tippmann.

Bigshot + Barrel Adapter is still cheaper than flatline.

And any of those other barrels Stan mentioned would be good.

I would stay away from barrel adaptors unless you are just completely broke. Instead, buy the J&J ceramic or SP Progressive. You can buy 3 of them for less then the cost of 1 Flatline, and they work just as well as the Bigshot.

I have a 14 inch Teardrop (nearly indenticle to the Progressive) on my A-5. I love it. Very accurate (10-12 inch spread at 70 feet). Fairly cheap ($40-50). Thfe Flatline is a great barrel as well. Used to have one on my 98 cutsom, but it got stolen. I liked the added range and flat trajectory and it came in handy a lot of time. But, I realized that many times, the added distance was unnedded because most of the fire fights are within 100 feet. The best part about the Flatline is playing the back man and keeping your opponents' heads down from an unbelievable range whilt your team advances. I say get the Teardrop though. Less expensive and less piant pickiness and better accuracy. The only thing you'd be missing out on was the Flatlines extreme range.
