98c problem

i have a 98c. i dont have a rt yet.when i shot sometimes the gun sounds like its doubl firing but only one ball comes out.i dont know what could cause this.look below to see my setup and please try to help me out:confused:

I don't quite understand your problem. you shoot once it sounds like you shoot twice and one ball come out?
sounds like it could be a problem with your ears.

then yes it sounds like it could be the sear spring mod, take the tubing off of it and try again

i took off the tubing. i have no co2 to check if it works but i ordered a response trigger.do you think my broblem will be fixed when i put the new sear spring that came with the response trrigger.

ohh this has happened on my spyder like 4 weeks ago....i sent it in to my pro shop they fixed it im getting it tomorrow....im not quite sure wat the problem was but wen i go pick it up i will ask them and get back to you.

hay it sounds like your rocket cocker it draging and holding it from cocking on the first try. so i would sugest trying your gun w/o the rocket cocker and if that doesnt work keep changing out your upgrades with the stock parts and see what helps. also try greecing up your parts real nice and see what that does. i hope that helps.

yes make sure you push th r.c. all the way in, and see about that stiffer sear spring that comes with the rt.

does the stock sear look damaged in any way?

i agree with him.strip off the upgrades one by one till it works right.thats what i do and it works for me.

i took off the tubing and it was bent,but the sear spring looks ok.ill reply what happens on friday if my response trigger comes in.then ill buy co2 and shoot.

I think that the tip of your sear is rounded. This makes it harder for the sear to cach. How much have you used your marker?

i got it a about a month before winter.i used it about 4 times . over the winter i played like 6 times. and i played in the spring 2 times so far. the last upgrade i got wqas thr rocket cock 2. im thinking about putting a little velcrow patches on it so it stays down.
