I have been looking at the Torid X, it has a good rating and is plenty fast enough for me. So I have a few questions.

What kind of bolt does it take (I have heard that is the only bad part about it)

How consistant is the stock reg?

What is the length of the stock barrel?

Can it use aftermarket grips like Dye Stickies?

Your right it is a great gun but you really dont need to worry bout grips because what you have on there are great. The barrel is 12 inches and the reg is great too.

BOLTS:

Shocktech supafly
Bolt from Odyssey
and another from ebay

T he stock bolt is preaty bad. It is kind of heavy and it sometimes scratches in side of the gun but if it is well lubercated it will be fine.

I recomend a any kind of delrin bolt that will fit like a stock timmy bolt, The blue bolt, or the delrin bolt that is at http://www.odyssey.tv/ .

The stock barrel is 12 inches.

^^LOL...thats funny^^

If you buy a spyder striker, like a delrin one, you can use spyder bolts.

But the stock reg isn't that great. You should upgrade it but you don't need to.

and the stock grips are very nice.

So a timmy bolt will fit it. I had heard that before, but was just making sure. And it is very likely that I will replace the reg eventually, but not for a while, I like to keep things stock, and then see what I need to upgrade on them.

That is way true, I don't think that I am going to ever replace mine.

Yes they do fit, I have one in my gun. But the back of the bolt hangs out of the gun a little bit but it still works fine and I don't care and dont even notice it. You can saw it off if you want to.

you don't even need a spyder striker to use a spyder bolt, you can put your stock cocking pin in there but once you screw in the cocking pin screw you won't be able to pull the pin out, without unscrewing the screw

they use pre-alias style bolts, and i'd recommend looking at the length of a timmy bolt before buying it, as in like the picture some will stick out the back when cocked

Would I be better off getting the Delrin one made for the Torid? As shown here http://www.discountpaintball.com/product_info.php?cPath=65_194&products_id=1533

Im more worried about the wieght of the stock bolt, because the heavier it is, the more kick the gun will have.

get a supafly there made specifically for draguns. secondly the stock reg is a pos. i havent a clue why EVIldaddy thinks its great get a cp or a torpedo reg. you might want a new trigger because the stock one wobbles around.

as long as the reg on the gun works I think its great because most of the @#&* that Dragun makes is junk. So if it works, great and if it dosent well you know why.

It takes timmy bolts and of course bolts made for the TES (which is basically the same exact gun).

The stock regs are actually pretty bad in my opinion, if you're lookin for a good reg get an air america, theyre the best around.

The stock barrel is okay, its pretty loud, but fairly accurate. I believe its 12 inches.

This is the biggest downer, the Torid/TES/T1/Draillion and all the rest of odysee's guns have m92 frames and all aftermarket grips are 45 style. I guess they made them m92 so if they decided to release their own grips thered be no competition.

After looking at the grips, I could guess that there wouldnt be any aftermarket grips, but people have said that they are good grips.

the torids have great stock grips, i wish id waited 6 months and bought a torid instead of a TES. The TES has a hard, slippery, fragile grip.

hi, i have a delrin odyssey bolt for torid x, it fitīs very well; the reg isnīt amazing but it works. To my gun i bought a maxflow(best of the best for me); if you can afford those things, donīt think in anything more; but if you canīt, just buy a new delrin bolt and cp reg...
