sell it or keep it for a backup incase you have any probs. Just hang on to it for now. Wait a while and see if they realize their mistake. If they dont contact you in a month, Id say its safe to keep it.

if its in new packaging tippmann might have recalled all the older models from dealers, and hotshot gave you a newer model, but like the guy above said just wait and see

if nobody at your home signed for it...then they have no way of proving that you ever got it. i'd keep it.

what do you mean if no one signed it?you mean when they brought it bythe mailman?the box is different than the one i got not too long ago[like a week ago]

if it was sent w/ delivery confirmation or signature required, they can prove that you recieved the grip. If not, they cannot track it. Just wait a while and see if they contact you if they realized their mistake.

We at Hotshot paintball realize that we made a mistake. We would like to take the opportunity to correct it. I will send you a PM with the address of where the return needs to go. Once the return has been accepted, you will be issued a store credit for the amount of 25.00 USD to be spent at our online store.
Thank you for being honest about it. We appreciate your business.

yahahahaha.
i dont see why your parents are trying to be so honest, im sure they bust their balls at work so their boss can, make more money, and if the accounting dept makes a mistake and sends them 2 pay checks im sure they wouldnt think twice about what to do. how would this be any diffrent.

I am deeply saddened that not one of you (other than the boy's mother) would tell him to be honest and contact hotshot paintball about the mistake. Would you be so lax about saying something if you got no egrip at all?
Where is rcxpaintball when we need him?

I personally would have contacted them because of the value of the item (correct me if I am wrong, but the E-Grip is what, $150-200? I am getting old and I haven't been paintball shopping in over a year). If it was something like an extra O-ring, I wouldn't have made a fuss, but that is a pretty hefty hit (not if you are doing thousands in business but still...) You made the right call by contacting the company, and I hope you bear it in midn in the future.

As a store owner, I can say we definitely appreciate honesty in a situation like this. As mentioned above, if it was something really cheap like a squeegie, pack of o-rings, etc. then don't bother. It's not worth the return freight cost but anything that's worth a bit more we'd definitely want back.
I know if we make a mistake in the other direction, you wouldn't hesitate to let us know (and rightfully so). We have to eat too. :)

Azoth of hotshot paintball is a nice guy. You should alert him about this mistake. Maybe youll get lucky and hell give you some store credit for it or something.
