Whoever can answer this one correctly gets a cookie, alright?
I need to know the specifics about the micro switch on the Impulses. I really only need to know the actuator type dingy, but anything else would help.
Thanks again, in advance again.

Toothpastedog...you're a god.
I found the microswitch with that digikey place, then I talked to SP and they said it would work, so now I have a new microswitch in the mail...

btw, nice to see your new site up, looks good... and a lot like the old one ;)

That's me. Destroying the world...one paintball gun at a time.

by the way, my career in physics is being put on hold for the time being...in light of more enjoyable and lucritive avenues.

on the topic of switches, how would a 50g feel on an impulse? you wouldn't need the return spring. and how does switch positioning/flipped switch impact it?

oh let me know how that test goes tpd, cuz i gotta take it next year.

flipping it so the lever faces forward generally isn't a good idea becuase most triggers are designed to impact the switch right on the edge where it's at stock. That's where the set swcrews are placed, etc etc.
80-g switches aren't that bad...you just have to set them up properly. If fact I use 80's with all my guns, and as I'm sure you konw I'm about to say, some of the triggers are very light. You just have to spend some time on it.

well, if you use any switch with out anything helping to repel the trigger, you're gonna get more bounce than normal. with that said, the heavier the switch, the less bounce you will have, even w/o a spring/magnet. in my old ai frame with WAS, i have an 80g switch, and no repelling force other than the spring, and i never have bounce due to the debounce settings. if you want to use a switch w/o anything repelling it, i strongly suggest using a board w/ debounce settings.
