What else would a gun vs. gun thread be?

BTW - I live in Kingwood too. I play out at Twisted for Krookd Monkey (KM). You've probably seen us out there if you play there.

NME's aren't as bad as some think, but still shocker. I'd get some form of ABS on it though, possibly by a reflash or getting a PL label one (or an aftermarket board).

Smart Parts is a known quality company, so buy the shocker.

I heard the NME's made by System X are made from low quality materials and the reason it is so expensive is the fancy body.

NME seems to shoot nicely from what I have seen and heard, but System X is somewhat notorious for shoddy products and service. I wouldn't take the chance.

Vision Shocker = better choice

I've shot and NME before and it was pretty nice....In fact, last time I checked Pep (Pep Escutia from Avalanche) had switched over to using one. They're not as bad as people make them out to be.

Would it have something to do with the fact that Avalanche is sponsored to shoot NMEs?

as of now i hate System X. this guy had an NME last time i went and he said it was fast but had NUMEROUS problems with leaking. he said definitely save up and get a timmy over the NME. and i had a system X pod belt and cant even express how ****ty this thing "was". first day i got it, it ripped so bad the back padding fell out, pods could flip in a complete circle, and stick out in a 90 degree angle. its HORRIBLE!!! they probably have SOME nice stuff but as far as guns and pod belts, STAY AWAY!!!!

What?! Teams use the products of their sponsors? Since when has this been going on, and why was I not informed?

NME = low quality timmy clone

And your point is....That doesn't mean that they can only shoot NME's. They're also sponsored by Warped Sportz. Not only that, Pep made a personal call to Bob Long to make sure he was ok with him using the NME because it's a basically a Timmy and he didn't want Bob to have any hard feelings about it, seeing as he used to play for the Assassins, and he also uses his Assassin Timmy every once in a while. Therefore, just because they're sponsored by System X doesn't mean thats all they shoot.
