Low on paint? A pump will take care of that

Pumps aren't any more accurate than semis. Just a slower rate of fire will make them appear more accurate. Since you can't fire as fast with a pump, your shots will tend to be more accurate. Accuracy is based on a good paintball to barrel bore match and the consistency of the gas supply.
If you are looking for a good pump under $300, try the Phantom, Paladin, or the Sniper II. I have a Phantom and I love it!

Lets see where to start......

Saves money on paint
More Accurate (they actually r more accurate do to CO2 efficiancy, but it's really detailed and i don't have time)
Less Bulky Then semi or electro
Can shoot as fast as a semi with auto trigger
Most have a long list of upgrades

Most of all i think they're just alot more fun to play with!!

You better your skills as a player when you play pump. I'm gonna buy a PGP and take that out once in a while because my timmy... well it burns paint like you would not freakin believe, which is a great thing, but an expensive thing as well :)

Pumps also teach patience! You have to wait for your shots, you have to move more rather then just putting a wall of paint up and whoever has the fastest trigger wins.. The best part is doing that one shot one tag thing.. you hear the pop of your gun and the satisfying splat on your opponent! I think pumps make the game hella more fun!

I think pumps are good definetly good to play with... say take your semi and put it in the closet for like 3 months and just play with a pump, you will DEFINETLY become a much better player. You will be more patient, have much better accuracy and your tactics should be improved. If not... give up paintball
