...a singel freak barrel what size insert would you get? i'm thinking .689, cause i don't have to use any field paint we can use whatever paint we want. also if i got a second insert? i'm currently using pmi premium, and might start trying marbalizers.

k this is what i'm thinking now. get a .689 and .687 insert. the thing is i don't have to use field paint anywhere cause we only play wood ball here, and there is no indoor or even any registered outdoors. So i can use whatever paint and they only sell pmi/rps, and some diablo. or do you think i should get one size bigger like .691?

Go for the .689 and the .687. Those will get you good matches on those paints. The Marbs are small bore so you could use the .687. I met a kid who has the complete set for his '99 cocker and he says that he uses on insert larger than recomended so those two inserts will be perfect:D

When you buy the single Freak barrel, I'm pretty sure it comes with the .689 (medium) insert. I'd recommend also getting a large insert and a small one... that way you're pretty much set no matter what paint you use.

if your on a budget dont bother with the larger insert,

go with the 689 and 687 like faniffy said then youll have most paint coverd

mainly big ball,32 degrees team colors,pmi premium seem to work great with .689 barrels


and jt,marbs,nelson anarchy for the .687

i should add the only paint i can get here is pmi/rps and some blaze kinds.

how much is the single freak? around 130, and an insert is 20 right? thats 150, you'd be best saving the 35$ and getting a complete freak. i know you only use 2 paints, but it will be alot easier to sell when you need to. free shipping at www.paintballinc.com if your interested

i live in canada and a complete freak kit is $350. I have been told i can get a single freak (1 black back,1 green front, and 1 insert) for $165. All of the prices are in Cdn. dollars.

well with that paint choice.

I would say the 0.689 that comes with it and a 0.685 probably would be better if you start using marbs
