2004/2005 Model

Hello everyone;
Recently I have neen discussing purchasing a new 2004 freestyle from someone, as we've worked out quite a good deal on my part, but im just wondering is the 2005 model worth the extra cash.
The differance in price would be, after taxes on the 05 would be like 350 Canadian, so about 280 American.

On the ICD website, the only differances I noticed were:
2005 has an Unlimited ROF
has a "clamshell" grip frame
And its available with multiple Triggers

Anyone else know what else is new? I know the B2K5's are going to have a shorter bolt and what not, anything like that?

nope. the 2005 Freestyles are basically the same as the later 2004 freestyles. Just make sure the 2004 you're getting has the HE bolt.

The one im getting is a 2004 Gen 2, and its new.
I dont think they came stock with the HE Bolt..
Is there a major differance? Where can I buy it?

I think some of the later FS came with a voucher or something for the HE bolt.

the HE kit is $110 and is installed by ICD. You need it if ur gun doesnt have one

It will work stock though?
The one im buying comes with a voucher to get it installed free, but I have to pay shipping there, which is gonna suck.

I'm not going to bother with the HE bolt on mine. $110 is not worth the 200 balls more it gives you. Plus ICD is 3 months backed up on HE installs. not worth it, I picked up the freestyle to PLAY not for it to sit at ICD... Hopefully shootpaint will have one someday that I can just toss in my non-he gen 1..

Well, im not sure what t do...
I have a voucher to get it done free, so thats not a problem, but if they are behind 3 months on HE installs, I might wait until this seasons over, but im not sure if it has an expirary date.
