Well, yesterday while walking around at the NEPL, I saw a guy weaing a PBR du-rag. It looked high quality and profesionally made. Now, heres my question...

Where the hell can I get one? I was going to ask him once his game got over, but I couldn't find him for the rest of the day. It looked pretty cool, and I'm in need of a new du-rag.

He was a pretty big guy, with short blond hair, and he had an orange Proto jersey, and black/orange Proto pants... Didn't find out his team name though.

EDIT: Yup, it was more than likely Homer. I looked in his sig, and his team name is Paintball Wizard Factory, I recognized that name.

Chances are if you really want one you could have some local shop make one for you. There are a few sign shops in my area that do all sorts of things like that... why sign shops I don't know.

Judging by some of the other threads in this forum....we get hated on a lot. :dodgy:

Incidentally, in unrelated news, PETA has launched an investigation into PBR moderators use of cats as headwear or padding during paintball competitions. More news at 11. ;)

they don't just look good, either. they've got an extra layer of cotton cloth on the forehead for added protection and higher bounce probability :)

Each mod also got a PBR matrix. It'll be sold later this year as the DMPBR. Honestly though, the velocity starts dropping after it hits 40bps. :(

I personally enjoyed the PBR Lederhosen. Lined for extra bounces during play. :P

There's also headbands, barrel socks and maybe a few other goodies.

I gotta admit, these are top quality. I was very surprised. They're very comfortable too. The condoms are pretty tough too. I shot a pod into one for giggles (what a drippy gooy mess....) tossed it in the wash, came out looking just as new.

I want a PBR coffee cup, mouse pad, t-shirt and thong! :agree:

Just so you know some of my tournaments are being filmed this year, not only by the event organizers but by local networks...in case that makes a difference ;)

Hey, maybe once these come out, you could have a pbr du-rag giveaway or something. Pretty much like my grip giveaways I've had in the past, just have people post and draw their names from a hat. Give away 5 or something as a promotion and maybe so people can see how good they are.

The nice thing is my PBR headband is long enough to double as a thong if I tie it right. I don't think I've ever had a headband that trapped sweat so well. After 4 runs through the wash, it still looks brand new. It's actually printed on the fabric, unlike cheesy novelty t-shirts that crack after you wash them. It's a semi-stretchy very soft and comfy material that fits very snugly and stays where you put it.

I forgot to mention the PBR LCD game timers that we got last week too! At least I did. You other guys got those too, right? Well, mine had a note enclosed that told me to keep it under my hat or the other mods might get jealous buuuut.....

In safety and quality control testing, we later found that the PBR Catbands, as they were codenamed, had a tendancy to leave long, bleeding marks on your head after you got bunkered, so they of course were scrapped. The leftover material from the Catbands was used to make PBR lingirie, but we also found the same bleeding marks in other areas when things became too intimate. There were also issues with printing the PBR logo onto the Catbands, so we finally opted to shave the logo onto them.
Eventually, Catbands were dropped as a viable material to make protective and/or seductive clothing from to promote the site. Any of the remaining material now was shipped directly to a crazy lady in New York city that owns a 125 square foot apartment. And 46 Catbands.

Hmm Ebon, I don't expect you to know this considering that you live in Indiana, but Du-Rags are all very much stretchy...I don't think that they're that thick though.

And advice for those of us that live on the East Coast...

Don't wear it outside of paintball...at the very best, you'll get weird looks from everybody, and hell, they might even ask about it. At the very worst...you'll get your *** jumped for making fun of black people.

And I'm quite serious, btw ;)

Actually Spydy, none of the above. He is on PBN, but he's not trying to troll or anything on PBR. He was just stating his oppinion.
