ive herd that ICD's arent built very well and after a while they break down. Ive herd that because they are cheaply made that they arent reliably at all. PLESE help me out and reassure me that its a good idea to by a B2K!! :dizzy:

Whoever told you that should go... Do something that could possibly be life threatening. B2k's and BKO's are very greatly built markers. I don't know how I'm supposed to reassure you, but I'm sure you'd be pleased with a B2k.

I've heard that from a bunch of ppl too. Then I ask them in what way, and they cant tell me. They cant think of a single example other than an inline that leaves something to be desired. So that leaves me with this: whoever says that doesnt know wtf they are talking about.
the inline is probly the weakest point of the gun, but it's not bad. I used my stock inline for almost a year before replacing it, it never broke (more than I can say for some aftermarket inlines) and I never felt that it held me back on the field.

My B2k has been far more reliable than the electro dragun (spyder) I picked up for friends to use.
I've had my first wiring harness problem and that's about it for things that have gone wrong. Mechanically they are very simple to tech and clean. Feildstripping can be accomplished with just your fingers. I'm talking taking the bolt out AND removing the ram assembley by hand. Those 2 parts are all thats ever required to clean and lube regularly, like all markers.
common User errors:
1: Using grease on the ram (will turn the grease into glue and decrease FPS after 500 rounds) <common all ram/hammer pb markers
2: dissasembling the marker too often (causes wiring harness problems because of the thin wires) <common all electro pb markers

Yeh that is a big problem, I did that to my Electronic Trigger frame and the harness wires snapped and didn't work. Thank god I know how to repair everything and fix a broken harness with scarce resources. Anyways ICD is one of the best companies when it comes to parts. There regs are great when the are worked in but people liek to change them. If ICD was crappy and didn't use quality stuff I doubt anyone would buy their stuff and they would probably not even be in business.

Yes you are supposed to lube the ram. Just not with pure grease. you have to dilute it a little with synthetic pb oil, else it becomes glue after 500 rounds or so..
you can just put a little oil on it, but straight oil will nto stay on the ram for long. A lubricating gel would be perfect, for now we have to mix it up...

^Radioshack lube gel should work without mixing it with anything.
I use Shocker lube and it works fine on its own. I'll try mixing it though and see if there's any improvement at all.
Just dont lube the ram shaft itself. Lube the o-rings on the ram, and put lube in the ram holes and then pump the ram a few times to get the lube down into it. This'll prevent it from sticking from overlubing or whatever.
If you lube the ramshaft itself then yeah it can stick, you can get some FSDO this way.
Anyway yeah bushies are super easy to maintain. No tools required, for the most part! Day-to-day maintenance includes keeping the bolt clean, and clean and lube the ram. Every few months its a good idea to lube the cupseal and clean and lube the regs, to keep the gun in good shape.
