y?
because you can get basically a "low pressure intimidator" as i like to call em (a highly upgraded imp that will shoot at inordinate rates of fire) for cheaper than a bone stock rat. but if you're rich and you dont want a hand-me-down than go for it. but ive seen fully upgraded with NDZ imps for like $4-$500.

thanks for ya time
p.s. no negative coments
The biggest difference is that a RAT is much lighter due to extensive milling, and comes with better parts. a rat is better than an rjr. check out the stickies.

If you heart is set on the rat, then you'll be plenty happy with it. My experience with rat impulses have been fantastic, though if you get it then you should get the equalizer board with it. The one thing to consider is that by the time you get all the goodies with the rat that make it such a great gun, you could have gotten a shocker or other high-end gun.
The only difference between a rat and rat jr is typically the weight and body milling, though in my opinion that's enough to make it worth getting the full rat.
