Hey everyone, just got myself a two-piece ultralight recently and was admiring the workmanship. Damn, this barrel is well made. Well i gave it to my dad to look at, and he realized that if you try to flex the barrel, the tip can move a little where it is connected to the back. He showed me and i could actually feel the tip move around in the back while it was completely screwed in. No I am not a weakling, and no my dad isn't either, we did screw it in all the way. does anyone else have this problem??

Well I dont own an ultralite but I'm thinking a couple wraps of teflon tape should solve your problem.

After reading this thread, I went to get my CP 2 piece and unscrewed it and found that the tip does have an o-ring, I just wasn't sure before. After I took the o-ring out, it seemed a bit looser than before even when screwed in all the way. Does the tip of your barrel have an o-ring? That might solve the problem, I don't know for sure since I don't have that barrel, though.

yes, it has an o-ring where the tip connects to the back, still wiggles though.

Hmmm, yeah, then BigTarget's approach should definitely work.

i really dont think a brand new ultralight should have this kind of problem. man, thats just messed up if i really have to resort to the teflon tape... T_T

any other suggestions, or people with the same problem?

Fatter oring of same diameter also might do the trick.

Try teflon tape and if that doesn't work, give Dye or the retailer a call.
