Guy at 340 fps....With a Marauder....

Story #1:


Alright, I was at a birthday in my early paintballin' days, and I went to a local field. Anyways, the guys who had their own markers had to go to the chrono(Obviously) and this guy named Kevin came up..

The owner put the marker on, and fired, and it shot at 340(Remember this is a BE Marauder) and the owner said, "What are you doing with it at that speed!?" and Kevin says, (And he seemed proud when he said this) "Well, me and my friend were on our ATV's and playin' paintball! You guys should set up a field here like that!"

Of course the owner thought he was a total moron, and walked away, laughing to himself and mumbling.


Story #2:

This one also invoves Kevin, but is quite short.
He was in a trench, scared as anything of getting shot, so he shot his own teammates, so he could get out! Finally, the refs just told us if he shot us, don't go out.

That's it? After a round of play in the morning, breaking for lunch, and coming back, my F4 was shooting rather quickly/with quite a bit of force, so while I'm standing at the rope, I take out my chrono...and I'm shooting 425 :eek2:

And yes, I called myself out that game before it started to work it down :rolleyes:


*EDIT* The moral of the story? It's a good investment to buy a handheld chrono for $100.

My friends brother got his G2 Piranha up to just under 500 over the big red radarchron. Hes just a little stupid.

A guy was shooting 475fps with his VL Orion, he did something tohis spring(He was just messing around) and they had to take the gun apart because it wouldn't go down.

My Rodeo was shooting 412 and my imagine was 374 one day, we had to cut the rodeo spring.

back in the day, field speed was 325/330 and we would spike them up to 350+ by feeding liquid co2 into them for long shots..

yea mauraders tend to be hot...my friend has a maurader ( definitely not his primary lol) and his goes easily up to 300fps and it wasnt even turned up all the way..
