What do you guys think is the best marker for under $600?

probably at this time, an Ion. for some it would be a cocker but thats about it. You can find some good used Trix's and Angels every once in a while as well. but brand enw i think it would be an Ion which is only like 300

It's a good marker. You can get the Ion and with the spare money, get a tank and a hopper.

That depends, new or used? My brother picked up a used A4 for $600 even the other day on Ebay. I would say that spanks the Muppet *** of any ION out there.

Truth betold, there is no one shot best. There is a wide load of potential, but no one best. I myself like WGP's Sniper 2, and CCI's VSC Phantom. Both of which are pump markers, which would leave you with quite a bit of money for paint, air, and accessories. (Barrels, Tanks, Clothing, Regulators, etc.)

Replace A4 with flied 03 or 04 speed and I agree. Performance wise an A4 is pretty much an older speed with an lcd. Also look into used trixes and shockers.

An ion is up there with any kind of higer end marker. If it is maintained properly, and upgraded right, it can be a beast.
