Ok, I have 2 things I have to ask before I play this Saturday:

1.) I noticed a few days ago when I screwed in my co2 tank, I heard a little cracking noise. Is this normal?

2.) I now have an empty tank and I had to replace the o-ring on it. When I screw in the tank, is it supposed to go in really easy, or does it require a little force to get it in all the way?

Depends on the cracking noise... My best answer is "probably not".

Sometimes, especially with a full tank or new tank. Full new tanks are the worst. Sometimes you really have to crank it... but be sure it's going in straight. If it is hard to put it in before the pin is depressed and the marker gases up, there is a problem.

The cracking noise only lasted a second, right when I was gassing up my marker. Everything else was answered.

Thanks

As long as its not a sharp crack..

If it sounds like something suddenly filling with air, then it's probably (PROBABLY) your c02 filling the gun or something.

It could be liquid co2 going into your gun rather than co2 gas, causing it to sputter and crackle a little as it leaves your tank. It sounds like rice crispies cereal right after the milk has been added right? You might want to check to see if it makes that sound from any particular part on your gun, as it might be a leak.

It came from the bottomline adaptor. I put some teflon tape on it last night.
