Screw Jt, One of the most reliable and most popular guns is the Tippmann Model 98 custom. Go to tippmann forums and browse the pics. You can order it from here www.lowpaintballprices.com for $179 in a package. Its a great deal man I bought my gun there from texas and i am from eastern canada. I know from all the people i play with, that this is a very good gun for me. All the upgrades u really need is a barrell. If you got any questions just feel free to ask. http://www.piratepaintball.com/media/98c.jpg
Heres a shot. SOme people dont like the looks or the way it feels, but i do. Besides it performs awesome.:D

The Tippmann would be a good choice. I own two Tippmann 98's one has a Flatline barrel and the other one has an RT trigger. The only thing I don't like about Tippmann's is that they have too many little parts that fall out when you take them all apart.
But they shoot well in any weather and the Flatline does have a lot of range. I would add an expansion chamber to it.

Personally I'd get a Custom98 from PaintballGear (http://www.paintballgear.com)
Great prices, only $124 for the gun, then you can pick up a V-Force Armor (NEVER FOGS!) Along with a 20oz tank and the thing comes with a 200rnd hopper :)
Total cost after all the extras you're looking at like $165 for all those :D
I constantly look around for deals, so yeah hehe.
Another great deal right now is also at the same place, JT Excellerator 4.0 for only $109, along with the same stuff you're looking at like $150 total for everything! I'm looking heavily at getting these things as well ;)
Both guns are awesome!
The JT Stock barrel from what I've heard is pretty damned good, and the Tippmann isn't too bad if you're playing a lot of speedball, but if you need some range just pick up a 14" J&J Ceramic, they're usually easy to pick up for under $50 and great barrels. A friend of mine has one and he loves the thing!
Hope this helps!

I think the pro ts is a great marker. It comes with just about everything on it already. It's been reviewed very well everywhere and the three people that I know who have them think they're the greatest things in the world.
I will be buyiing one in about two weeks.... need to save a bit more.
They are $220 at www.actionvillage.com
If you want to save the cash though a tippmann is a great gun too.
Do some price comparisons about how much it would cost to upgrade the tippmann to everything that's on the pro ts.
just a suggestions.

Piranha EXT Pro. I like it over the TS cuz of the flush cocking and the single color paint job compared to the splash. Performance wise they are the same. pbgear has them for $199. Like with any gun upgrade the stock barrel with the rest of your money.

Well, if you're spending 220 on a gun though you still have to get your CO2 tank, Hopper, Mask, etc... A cheaper gun would be a better choice, and from what I've heard the Excellerator is up on par with the parahna

Get a Spyder Shutter for 159.99 on www.paintballgear.com !!! These are the good things about the Shutter!!!
1.The Shutter comes with a double trigger system (I can shoot around 7-9 shoots a second on the Shutter)
2. The Shutter also comes with a regulator wich helps velocity consistancy and therefore better accuracy!!!
3. It looks cool, comes in Purple, Red, Blue, or Black!!!
4. It comes with an expansion chamber too!
5. The Shutter's reg. and expan. both work great together!!! So accuracy is awesome!!!
6. The rearcocking!!! I can shoot up to 9 shots a second (on stock shutter) without breaking one paintball!
7. Much more easier to take apart to clean, then the c98!!!
8. very reliable (although I will admit the c98 is somewhat more reliable)
9. the Shutter can take a heck of a beating!!!
10. With the extra 80 dollars you would have if you bought the shutter I would buy a steelbraided hose line 10-15 dollars then a great barrel!
11. If you did that combination you will have better ACCURACY then lots of other guns!!! because of the regulator and expansion chamber that comes with the Spyder Shutter!!!
12. The Shutter comes with every thing you need for great accuracy!!!!
The bad: the only bad thing about the Spyder Shutter is the Micro line hose! just replace that and you got a great gun!!!
(Also, if you get the Shutter just remember to tighten down this one screw, directly to the right of the guage, this will help lower pressure and increase accuaracy, Plus it will help the microline hose last!!!
So I say go with the Shutter!!!
