feed neck

I can not get my feed neck off. I would like to know in order to get it off do i turn it right like normal or is it a wierd thread. I am using rubber padding and vice grips and i can not get the thing to budge. How do i get it off?

it's probly loctited on. Heat it up with a hairdryer or torch, then give it a shot. Remember to remove your bolt and detents first so they dont get damaged by the heat. And remember that its gonna be HOT so dont use rubber padding after heating the feedneck, it'll melt. Wrap a cloth around it and twist it off by hand.
