Alright so the sear spring to my 98c got stretched. Therefore i need to purchase another one. The trouble is I can't find the specific 98 Custom Sear Spring. Does anyone know where I could get one? 888paintball.com has a sear spring for the Sl-68, are these the same? It also has a Front Sigh Spring for the Model 98 (not custom.) So bacially im asking you guys what I should do.

Xavier: why not just replace the sear spring with something better? You can simply replace it with a rubber band that they use on braces (you can probably find it at Wally World or something), and have your trigger much lighter? That way you don't have to buy a new one...hope I helped!

Is there any set back to replacing the sear spring? could anything go majorly wrong? Thanks

None that I could think of, besides maybe that the rubber band could snap, so you would have to replace it. But it's not like you only get one in a pack, you get like 25, so it's no big deal.

Is there anyway the gun could go into full auto if it breaks or something? thanks again :)

Yes, there is a possibility of the sear not catching if the band breaks. However, the bolt will cycle so fast that it won't feed a ball. It won't become a safety hazard or anything. It'll just sound like you're out of air.

Countypaintball.com also has a parts kit made by Airtipps? that contains o-rings,bolts, front sight spring etc... for $10.00
