what's your favorite position/bunker to play on the field?

mine:

usually the back or mid cans or the sideways cans

I get paranoid when I am in a dorito...Its just to much cover and usually so far back...

I like bunkers that are hard to work, the cheese curl is just perfect like that. People look at it and go "Look at those gaps, to easy to get shot thru." and they never touch the things. But a bit of weight on the top of one and those gaps close up and it gets nice and solid. Makes for a great pit stop as well. Quick slide in and then book it to where you need to be.

Personal preferance is either cheese curls or small bricks, small wings, or tombstones. But mainly small bricks and cheese curls.

Depends on the 50.

Personally I can't stand haunted houses and car washes.

Twisted Towers are ok, but only when they 4x them.

Lettering is a good one for me. But only if its a smaller set up. I hate huge cover. If I can't lazy boy it, I don't like it. The car wash is the exception. I just don't like it beacuse it doesnt play to well.

Also mini rods are just the most worthless thing around. I mean a rod thats 12 inches in diameter and 4 feet tall all spaced two-three feet apart and usually a cluster of five to six+. Its pointless, no good way to work them and they just bounce paint and cut angles. Its good for some fields but on most it just disrupts the game.

if you try and play the mini rods, you need to stop and smack yourself. they're great for cutting those angels down while making a big move, or sprinting through to do a run through, but playing them is pointless.

I mostly play back, but when I move up or play front it's all about the dorito. In the back, I don't really have a preferance, I can play all the "typical" back bunkers.

I play everywhere though so really im not to picky on bunkers, i just prefer playing the snake, so much fun.

Sometimes you don't have a choice.

Ever try making a move on someone and getting cought by a snake player that has your angle if you go any farther then the rods, and if you try to double back he has your angle as well? You don't have much of a choice but to try and play the rods.

Pyramid, Bricks, and Dorrito. I don't really like the Standups or Pop cans because of the cylindrical shape exposes your sides more.

nothing gets the adrenaline running more then successfully dodging multiple lanes of paint and sliding into a key bunker on the 50....its an indescribable rush for me at least. oh, and i absolutely hate taking the x's off the break or whenever there are players on both sides of the field....they are so hard for me to play correctly...i always get shot in the legs or foot cus im not used to the shape

You must have some funky field layout. Every field I've done goes large in the back and it gets smaller untill the 50 then its big. I've honestly never played a field where a dorito was near the 50 unless it was built into the snake.

It just depends on the field layout. I'm a Mid/Front, more of a front than mid really. I love the snake, but I usually don't get to play it because we have a very fast/awesome player that's better at playing the snake than I am. I usually like the 50, though.

Ill occasionally make it over to dorrito side but more often then not i take the snake of the break or within the first 30 seconds of the game...

most fun part about paintball is sitting at 50 snake and listing to the 2 backs shooting at each other over your head and usually the center shooting at you, while you try to shoot cross field at the dorritos or back left...until the guy coaching you tells you to go dunk the guy at L2 because he is "reloading" and you get lit up by both back left and the guy that was "reloading"

Position? I just usually run as fast as possible and get whatever the best position I can is. But front probably isn't the best for me considering I'm 6'0 and porbably not that fast.

Generally we don't use a standard layout. I prefer to mix it up a LOT to get practice on things everywhere.
