Hmmmm sounds like a misadjusted sear..... *wonders if it has an adjustable sear or just a brass plate behind the solenoid*

If the sear isn't adjustable take a small file and file the brass stop behind the solenoid until it catches.... Also, be sure to oil it, some markers don't come oiled... <- That should solve your multiple shots....

Oh, and did you have paint in the marker when the solenoid wouldn't "click" with the eyes on? Cause without paint it won't click; that's what it is supposed to do.... Also, the hissing is normal (if it is what it seems you are saying)....

i am not sure if a vexor has a reg.(havent gone on actionvillage yet) but if it does you may not have enough pressure going into it

I seem to remember this post in another section of the site?
Anyways, I'll reply again...
I notice that you're in Anchorage. What was the temperature where you were doing your test firing? If you're using CO2 in a cold environment, you get the problems you describe.
I'll start from the air tank and work forwards.
1. If using CO2, make sure your tank is filled with the proper amount of LIQUID CO2. Make sure your tank is set up in such a way as to limit the chances of liquid CO2 dumping directly into the marker's firing chamber. Anti-siphon tubes are the best option.
2. If using compressed air (also known as high pressure, nitrogen, HPA), make sure your reg is tuned to output at least 650 psi.
3. Make sure the striker is lubricated with a good-quality paintgun lubricant.
4. Make sure the striker oring is not damaged. Even a slight nick in that oring will cause the problem you describe (firing a million times and not re-cocking).
5. Make sure the sear travel pin is tight. To check, remove the left grip side. You'll see a set screw in the trigger frame, just behind the solenoid. That screw tightens down on the solenoid travel pin. Make sure the pin is at the proper depth. Proper depth is where the bottom edge of the pin is flush with the hole in the back of the trigger frame.
6. Make sure that the inline reg is adjusted so that the pressure gauge needle is in the lower range of the green zone. This is proper input pressure. Inadequate input pressure would cause the problem you describe.
