power feed is the way too go,when your low on paint on the pwer feed the balls wont pop back in the hopper. standard feed guns they will pop back so you got too try and keep around 25 balls in the hopper. Its cheaper to buy the power feed with the gun. than too go get it later on they power feed body by it self is like 89 to 109 bucks.

I read somewhere that AGD changed the bolt design to eliminate the blow-back "pop-up". It was basically saying that std feed was fine as long as the shooting was kept around 6-9bps.

Either way, get the PF. It's nice to be able to shut off the flow of balls when you have to pull off the barrel when you chop paint and the gun jams.

Not that has ever happened to me...never.

Hall i for to bring that part up on the power feed.As far as redesign of the std feed it does the same thing when the hopper gets low ball want too pop back out too the hopper.I see it on markers where they cut the feed tube down some too get the hopper closer too the marker.(Thats on the std. feed i talking about.)With a revy it cuts it down a tad.

I always thought they cut down the feed tube just for looks. Smaller profile=harder target.

Are you saying cutting down the tube reduces blow-back? Huh? Really?

Hall, what I was saying was if you use a revy it cuts down on the balls blowing back into the hopper, cause its forcing the balls down, guys cutting the feed down don' make it less.I should of worded it diffrent.

Still....huh? Cutting down the tube has NO affect? I'm not arguing, I really don't know either way. I have a PF Mag and Std feed Shocker and I've never tested their blowback.

Maybe some day I will.

I know that Hall .Just trying to let you know what I know cause I got a std. feed mag.My friend Has one also but he cut his down.I have seen balls go back up the feed tube and brake in the hopper.AGD even says on std feed to keep at least 20 too 25 balls in the hopper too avoid this. But I getting a power feed body in a few weeks. Also I had a RT till a few weeks ago and sold it when I got my Impluse.

I had a Std feed mag before, but I really can't compare them because my previous mag blew donkey balls. It had the worst shootdown. It could handle like 2bps before I was getting range of 20ft.

So, blowback was the least of my problems then. Now with my PF, I get to chop balls alot more! When they do get past my ball-chopping-trigger finger they go really nice.

Well i using a palmer stab. on mine. And dont shootdown,And i am using CO2 but then its warm here.I getting nitro in a few weeks so that problem going out the window.I'll still sell co2 in the woods game and now have a nitro fill station too booth.
