Prettymuch trying to badmouth the Ion to make some sales. They say "They weren't very impressed with how cheaply the Ion was made" and "The Ion can only get 1100 shots off of a 68/4500 if its lucky." I'm sure it's a fine gun, but if they have to lie like that, I don't trust it to be better than an Ion.

The wait is over! We've tested the Ion and we were very under impressed with how cheaply built it is. Here is a much better built new marker from ACI called the Blind Rage and is it packed with features. First of all it is equiped with break beam eyes so say bye-bye to chopped paint. It also has a gripping feed neck, delrin bolt, inline regulator, variable speed trigger system, adjustable trigger blade, autococker threaded two piece barrel that can be converted from a 14" to a 9" barrel, and is available in 3 different fade combinations. The great thing about these markers is that they are mega efficient compared to the Ion which was lucky to get 1100 shots from a 68/4500 while and the Blind Rage gets 1600-1700 shots.

How the heck can a blowback get 1600-1700? It'd be lucky to get 600-700. Its no excalibur. Not to mention that it's uglier than hell..

A used high end gun is a good choice, otherwise go with an Ion.

The Blind Rage doesn't compare to the Ion.

You can't deny the fact the Ion is a good gun for its price 8807. I guess your ignorance isn't going to stop anytime soon though.

i recommend a timmy or a trix first dip ****. and maybe id tell other ppl 2 buy different blowbacks besides fish if they were actually made in North America or even South America. but Asian sweatshops? no way. not 2 mention i have owned different types of spyders/spyder clones and many other markers. i have been owning pb markers for almost 4 years. don't like what i have 2 recommend tough ****. the only markers i don't recommend are be, vl, spyders (use 2 but stopped after the GTI dropped 2 104 and the EXT drop-ed 2 145), spyder clones (use 2 but i had lots of problems with my old gameface marker in so many ways. since most of these markers come out of the same factory and they are all made by the same ppl i treat them as a whole), $P markers for lots of reasons, angels in some cases, and a few icd markers along with some of there clones.

i am still a proud supporter of wgp, boblong, dye, pmi, diablo, jt, vforce, gen e, truma, j&j, aci, lapco, agd, center flag, crossfire, ans, bandit, cp, check it, empyer, diablo, derder, draxxus, evil, proto, extrem range, and much much more. also most of those that i first listed i just didn't like a few of there markers. most of them still make other wonderful products.

we're just givin' you a hard time 8807, no biggy. Believe it or not I think Spyders suck too. I don't agree on SP though, Impulses are just awesome, a used Impulse is a steal these days.

sry. i have just been taking so much crap lately from clown and his friends. i can't stand him. he just comes in the pmi forum and trys 2 disprove my first hand experiences.

as for sp. u probably r 2 new 2 remember it. i didn't start looking into it until the end of 03. i found some info on it and put it on my site though. most of it is quotes although u will get those hard core sp guys that will try 2 disprove it all. :rolleyes:

the blind rage is 'tarded. i hear it's marginally better than a GF vexor eye, but costs like twice as much. it supposedly has as lower operating pressure and therefor less kick than the vexor or most any other sear tripper. i highly doubt it is worth $300. if you don't an ion, then get a wrath or pick up a used odyssey marker. all of which are highly under-rated but i hear are pretty decent.

you could always pick up a used angel LCD/ir3 and then 'pred it.. you know, eventually.

Why? Just because a company isn't the nicest doesn't mean you shouldn't buy their products, the Ion is a quality marker, and fanboys of other markers are just jealous.

Yeah, you should see him defending his beloved Misfit, I've read some of usa's stuff, it's pretty funny, but anyways, people shouldn't bash SP because what they've heard from people, who aren't really credible sources.

Most of the Anti SP fanboys don't have a credible source. Basically, a site to back up being anti SP says:
1. SP made the broad patent on electro markers to take over that niche.
2. They are suing companies to kill the competition.
3. The Shocker and Ion are crappy because parts are either poorly made(plastic Ion body) or are dropped entirely(LPR).
4. They made the Impulse threads to make more money on barrel and feedneck sales.
5. The Ion was made to take over the Spyder/Tippmann buyer group.
6. Smart Parts are Nazis.


The coming wave of anti K2 fanboys will probably have the same credibility as the Anti SP'ers. :|

The main reason I pointed out earlier that VL (BE/WGP/K2) is as bad as SP is because the guy was making it sound like SP is the only company with less than noble business practices. Truth is, if most of your little "We care about the customer" companies got in a position to dominate by stomping on the little guys they probably would. It's easy to say you wouldn't sell out when no one is offering you heaps of money.

SP's suits are already over and done with. If you want to hate on SP, then you're about 2-3 years too late. Get over it, court is how patents are upheld.

If you can't handle that, buy a one way ticket to China.
