Why was the "So, you want to buy a gun?" thread closed?

I think that thread should be open, so newbies like me can ask questions about markers on it. What i want to ask.... Is the Nu-Line Bruizer Wiseguy a good gun for me to start with? I can get it for $99 and it comes with a 12" ported barrel. Is it better than something like a Spyder Compact 2in1?:confused:

Flame war? When was that? I don't think I ever saw a flame war in there? Can you reopen it now that all the posts are apparently gone?

I deleted most of the flames out of there already. Some guy was mad because you didn't say tippmans were the best guns in the whole wide world. I think I might redo the thread a little bit with some pieces I've been writting on my own. If you say one gun or one type of gun is better than the others then there are bound to be people with contrasting opinions who want to argue. I think I'll leave ebon's piece in about spyders, find someone else to write something about tippmans, or I'll write it myself, and for pirhanas and other starter guns-- all reflecting them in a positive light not comparing one to another, but just listing the possible gun choices side by side.
