The talon would qualify as a sideare but that is it in BE lineup.

My friend plays woodsball with a talon strapped to his back. He thinks it makes him look more masculine. It's kind of funny though, sometimes when he's running it'll fly up and hit him in the back of his head and the rest of us will hear a shower of curses from his direction. I don't really think Rambo ever got knocked in the head by his own gun. :laugh:

Since they are plastic thingamajigs so they have less velocities than normal?(not a fan of plastic, not depdable)
P.S this is for a friend i would NEVER consider a B.E marker.

the reason they have lower velocity is NOT from being plastic,the valves on tlaons and so on arent made to be adjusted,but you can get one to shoot to 280mi have a eagle 68 made by BE for a side arm(be dont make them anymore,but can find one on ebay maybe)and there is holsters for them

BE got it's bad rep from the 3 BE guns my friend bought at hell (wal mart ICK) He bought 2 raptors that had defective bottom lines, and an avenger that had a part put in it upside down so e couldn't get the velocits under 420! I am a BE basher. to hell with all you cheap ppl who think BE rocks...

there is nothing wrong with BE, as long as you are looking for a product that falls apart after first use. Brass Eagle guns are great at keeping you on your toes, every game they do something different, something new, something no one has ever seen before. i, personaly, am challenged and refreshed with Brass Eagles unique point of view when i comes to manufacturing paintball products. they are the only company that realy apeals only to newbies, i think the people that own B.E. are practical jokesters that make every product a little different to make every owner incredibly confused and pissed off at the same time just for kicks.

part of the reason why BE gets such a bad rep is the handling of the products. I used to work at Walmart, and I've seen the way that the workers unload the containers with new merchandise that comes in.

as the containers are unloaded the items are placed on pallets, each with it's own specific department (sporting goods, automotive, housewares, etc.) and you should see the way these guys unload the containers and put them on the palets. The fly them out of the containers, and just throw them halfway accross the room onto what whatever pallet they belong to, including paintball gear! It's crazy

BE got a bad rep from being the most unreliable gun on the market.the only customer support is taking it back to walmart and getting a new one.o yea.....they r PLASTIC
